The Creative Coalition, a pro-arts lobby group, needed a new brand identity that would better align with their purpose and mission. Based in Hollywood, this nonprofit organization advocates for the arts nationwide.

We started to think about how we could transform the Creative Coalition’s brand identity. Because we understood that the Creative Coalition is truly a beacon for the positive difference the arts can make in our world, we knew we had to bring this important function into greater focus. Taking the sky-roving spotlights of Old Hollywood as inspiration, we created a modern, streamlined logotype that embodies the Creative Coalition’s role as a great illuminator.

Every new brand identity needs a well-formed introduction to the world. Using this direction, we developed a hard-hitting ad campaign that dramatically posed the question, “Can you imagine a world without art in it?” to raise awareness of the issues and reinforce how art brings light in dark times.
