Robert Bridwell
Partner, Creative Director

Robert Bridwell is an artist at heart. As Creative Director for LO:LA, Robert masterfully blends art and commerce, drawing on more than 15 years of production and graphic design experience to produce campaigns that truly resonate with brands and consumers alike. His extensive experience in advertising, branding and direct marketing, as well as bringing intangible client needs to life despite challenging expectations, tight deadlines and even tighter budgets is an art unto itself, mostly because he makes it look effortless.

Starting as a tattoo artist for 10 years in Los Angeles, he dreamed of honing his craft and realizing his full potential. After getting his design education from the Platt School for Design, he worked as a Designer/Production Artist at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he created “Saatchi After Hours”, a gathering for non-creative employees to learn more about the creative process.

As he grew at Saatchi, opportunities to grow into an Art Director began to present themselves. After four and a half years, he moved to the creative shop at DirectTV, where he excelled and succeeded in landing more work at Ambry Genetics and RAPP. Here, he conceptualized and produced print and digital direct response marketing collateral for Bank of America, Mattel and AARP, lead art direction for Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, and encouraged moms to take a digital dive into Pinterest on behalf of Hot Wheels.

While not building residential elevator cabs in his free time (yes, that’s a real thing), Robert’s passion is communicating through design and he remains dedicated to the art of craft of impactful advertising. In addition to earning an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design from Platt College, he diligently continued his pursuit of the craft by attending The Art Institute of California, studying Photography, Branding and Graphic Design. He rounded out his education with a focus on Creative Concepting for Art Direction at the Book Shop.

Every summer Robert retreats to the mountains with his family for week where he is off the grid and out of sight. It may be training for the apocalypse, but we’ll never know.
